Thank You, Miracle Families!

Day 12 of 12 days of Hoorays:

A very special thank you to our 2023 Champion, Jaydan. We are so grateful for Jaydan and his family sharing their story with our community.

Jaydan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at 3 years old. Jaydan endured chemotherapy, countless inpatient procedures and has celebrated a birthday in the hospital. Jaydan’s family was such a big support and would host game nights in his hospital room! Jaydan and his family appreciate the support from Child Life and his physician, Dr. Bradeen. Now cancer-free, Jaydan loves fishing for northern pike, swimming and riding his dirt bike. Learn more about Jaydan’s story from the video below:

We are so thankful for all of our miracle families who shared their story, attended events, and even fundraised for our hospital. Your stories are so important and so moving, and we deeply appreciate your willingness to share them on behalf of all our patients treated at the UVM Children’s Hospital. As we move forward in 2024, we hope to continue to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future with you.
